Studio Access

Centered members enjoy unlimited open studio access and the freedom to explore their artistic vision.

Studio Hours

  • Monday: 8:30am - 10pm

  • Tuesday - Sunday: 7 am - 10pm

Members are welcome in the studio during scheduled classes and workshops, but may not have access to a wheel. Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9 pm. Our priority is maintaining flexible member access.

Costing

  • Membership is $250/month and includes one 24” x 48” shelf. Autopay enrollment is required for membership.

  • Clay can be purchased directly from the studio or from the artist’s preferred source. We fire cone 5. Please connect with us for firing temp approval if you purchase clay outside of the studio.

  • Clay is available from the studio at $40 per 25 pound bag

  • If you bring in outside clay, there is $20 per bag firing and glaze fee

  • Please note, we are a small studio and cannot extend membership to artists doing high volume production runs and have limits on oversized pieces.

  • The studio stocks many commercial brush and dip glazes. Members have the option of purchasing their own glazes, or utilizing studio glazes.

    • When bringing in your own glazes, you must fire a test tile first to assess how much a glaze runs.

Community

Members are encouraged to submit bios and photos of their work to be featured on the member page. Members are welcome to plan and host art openings at no additional cost!

Membership Path

Centered aims to build an intentional, safe community. In order to grow this community in a thoughtful and sustainable way, membership is available by one of 2 paths:

  • Completion of four 8-week sessions, demonstrated clay competency, and instructor approval

  • Completion of at least one 8-week session, demonstrated community fit, and at least 2 years of previous ceramic experience

All members must complete one 8 week class before being considered for membership. 2026 & 2027 class schedule is below. Please reach out with any questions!
